Live! Casino Pittsburgh is turning five this week, and to celebrate, the strip-mall casino is giving away more than $100,000 in promotions.

“At Live!, our guests and team members are at the heart of everything we do,” said Sean Sullivan, general manager of Live! Casino Pittsburgh. “Celebrating five years of success gives us the perfect opportunity to show our appreciation with incredible prizes, special events and unforgettable experiences.”

Running now until Nov. 23, guests will experience daily bonuses and drink specials, like the $5 specials at the Sports & Social Steel City bar, which is a fantastic place to watch and bet on sports.

In additional to the promotions, on Nov. 20, the casino will unveil a newly installed flag display court at 4 p.m. with Pittsburgh Steelers legend and Army veteran Rocky Bleier.

Hundreds of American flag ball caps will be handed out at the casino that day.

Live! is also giving 10 employees an all-expenses-paid cruise to the Bahamas valued at $5,000 each, and will also hand out Thanksgiving turkeys to crew members.

The casino is actually not in Pittsburgh, but it located about an hour to the East near Latrobe.

World Poker Tour news

The World Poker Tour announced the return of WPT Cambodia. Taking place again at the NagaWorld Integrated Resort from Jan. 21 to Feb. 9, the series will try to break last’s year’s record of over 10,000 entries and more than $10 million in prize money generated.

The 20-day festival will have 138 total tournaments, including 73 numbered events with buy-ins ranging from $200 to $20,000, alongside 41 satellites offering players a variety of ways to secure their seats in major tournaments.

The headliners are the $1,100 buy-in WPT Prime Cambodia Championship Jan. 30 to Feb. 3, and the $3,500 WPT Cambodia Championship Feb. 4-9.

“After the incredible turnout and energy we experienced in 2025, we could not be more thrilled to return to NagaWorld,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska. “WPT Cambodia has quickly become a favorite stop among players worldwide, and we look forward to building on last year’s success with another unforgettable festival.”

The WPT also announced it has a new partnership with COPAG, which is now the official supplier of cards for the WPT.

The press release reads:

“As one of the most respected and recognized names in poker, COPAG joins forces with WPT offering a premium product with a long history of excellence in card manufacturing. COPAG’s premium plastic decks have been trusted in major international poker festivals including WSOP, APT, and BSOP, and will now partner with WPT for the WPT World Championship this December.

“COPAG’s commitment to quality and innovation aligns perfectly with the WPT’s mission to deliver the highest standard of live poker experiences,” said Manager of WPT Studios, Kathryn La Bouff. “We’re excited to showcase their products at the season ending WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.”

The most interesting thing about this story is that the COPAG will introduce RFID-enabled cards to WPT feature tables, allowing each card to be digitally tracked and displayed during live broadcasts.

The technology will premiere at the The WPT World Championship festival that runs Dec. 2-22, with the $10,400 WPT World Championship event taking place December 13-21.
