World Series of Poker Shifts Circuit Schedule Over to Calendar Year, Releases First Group of Stops for 2026

The World Series of Poker released the first part of its Circuit schedule, and it came with a significant change: The WSOP Circuit season now aligns with the calendar, running January to December.

In the past, the season would start after the summer’s WSOP festival ended in July.

“The WSOP Circuit is the lifeblood of our brand, consistently delivering world-class poker and massive prize pools to players across the globe,” said Ty Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of WSOP. “Shifting to a calendar-year season for 2026 marks a new era of predictability for our players, allowing them to better plan their pursuit of the coveted gold rings.”

The WSOP also announced that it will award a $5,000 WSOP package to all 2026 WSOP Circuit gold ring winners. That includes tournament buy-in and hotel accommodations to any WSOP Europe of WSOP Paradise event.

It also confirmed that the WSOP+ app will be fully utilized at every WSOP Circuit stop this year.

Online satellites for the international events will be held on GGPoker, the new owners of the WSOP, but no word on whether online satellites will be run for players living and playing in the United States.

The complete remaining schedule for the 2026 season (June through December), including additional domestic and international stops, will be announced in Summer 2026, prior to the World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas.
